Raffle items
As usual, we have some great items for the raffle table already, starting with 3 special edition Wong Spearguns. Thank you, Daryl.
Plus, $1,000 worth of Flanigan's gift certificates and a few hundred free drink coins. I love their food...eat there all the time. All the fish decor and pictures in their restaurants makes me feel at home. Incidentally, marine artist Carey Chen does all their artwork, and he will be at the Expo as an exhibitor, and he is donating some beautiful prints (again) for the raffle. All three of these guys love the ocean, and they also have big hearts! |

Re: Raffle items
Aloha Sheri,
I look forward to another huge show. Every year it gets bigger, better and more international! Its cool to mee the who's who of the diving industry and see that they all have the same passion as us. I am honored to be able to help out with your great show and its cause. I'm sure all of the vendors feel the same way and as you already know from past years more than happy to donate raffle items. I will have three guns and if things work out maybe a fourth. I look forward to seeing and putting my raffle script down on the items the other vendors will be donating. Mako, Omer, Mares, Esclapez, Picasso, to name a few of the speargun manufacturers. This is also where many will be debuting new products. Also artists such as Carey Chen and David Wirth. PFI, Pelagic and many more will be there too.. Too many to list. For those of you thinking about attending, check out the site www.thebluewild.com and check out the exhibitors. All of them will be donating something. Sheri, when you can list the items from each vendor so we can see what goodies to look out for! I'll post some pictures of the guns for the raffle as they are being made. Thanks for all your hard work and efforts to bring the spearfishing community together! See you there in June! For all you guys out there, don't forget to come on by and say hi! Heres a few pictures of past winners and some guns that were raffled off at the other expos. Aloha,Daryl |

Re: Raffle items
Aloha Ed,
We'll miss you at the expo. I just took up fly fishing and have to get over to your neck of the woods one day. My buddy from Conneticut visited to dive and brought his fly rod here. I didn't know we had such world class bones here. I went a few mornings before work with him only 5 minutes from my house. We saw tailing bones all over the place. Of course seeing them and catching them is another story. Aron went out and hooked a bunch by himself and said he say hundreds of big bones at least 7-10 lbs. My project for the year is to hook a 10 lb bone to send a picture to him. He said he'd die if I caught one before he did. He guides for a living for trophy stripers off Rhode island. He's going to donate one guided fishing or spearfishing day to the dive expo. Aloha,Daryl |

Re: Raffle items
Aloha Lunker,
No I'm a very novice flye fisherman who hasn't caught a fish on fly yet. But I will soon. Speaking of Fishing, my buddy Aron Coscone who is a proffesional fly fisherman and also is a pro for Orvis fly fishing company just said he is donating a one day fishing/diving charter up in Rhode island. You pick. He can take you out diving, fly fishing or fishing. He knows all the best spots and I have shot my biggest tautogs and striped bass on his boat. The charter will be available for Raffle at Sheri's expo! Aloha,Daryl |

Re: Raffle items
I'll post some pictures of the guns for the raffle as they are being made.
I have had more free time than I want due to the crappy weather here, but good for catching up on orders and having some fun working on new camou patterns. I am bringing three guns for the Blue wild dive expo raffle. I though it would be fun to post pictures of the guns I just finished and let the SB members pick which two guns they would like to see in the raffle. The third gun is an awesome curly teak stock with a clear coat finish. I'm up for suggestions if you want all three camou or just two. These are the guns to choose from. I numbered the guns so you can post a vote on which gun. If someone knows how to put up one of those polls, they can do it with these guns from gun 1-8. I'll put the first couple up and then the rest. Enjoy and let us know what tickles your fancy. Aloha,Daryl |

Re: Raffle items
Aloha Lunker buster,
Thanks for the pick. That handle style if not new. I have been doing them for a while. I call it euro style. I had one gun in that stye at the expo last year and it sold the night of the kick off party even before the expo opened. Its perfect for the spearos who like the rear handled type euro guns. Re: Raffle items
Hey Daryl… they are all beautiful! I agree with LunkerBuster, I like the blue the best, and my second choice would be the camo #1.
But, I have to tell you, if I win any of them, I will be one happy spearfisherman! |

Aloha Dave,
Just so you don't fnish the voting to fast, I finally rigged the other two guns to choose from. The other guns that are not picked will be on display at the expo if they don't get sold by then Here are the last two. These are called drip camou. Both are 55in GR guns. I have a big Blue gun I'll post that is being done but not for sale. Its a special order, but very nice. Aloha,Daryl |
