Scripps cam is BACK!

http://sio.ucsd.edu/piercam/

Just got an email form the owners of that scripps cam that was removed a while back....

This cam gives a much better look at the real conditions of LJ and the LJ shores beach launch...plus gives you an idea if the drive for a lunch time surf is worth it... and unless im hallucinating it looks HD this time around...

If you were one of the people that emailed a request to get that cam back.. thanks..

Jimmy

Nice. Never knew there was one to start with. It says live but the time on the bottom says 04:35 pm and right now it is 09:35 am? Maybe Joe ( zen ) could put the link in the condition sticky. Thanks for the info.

I was thinking the same thing. Just wasn't sure with the evening marine layer. June gloom thing. Saw some birds working bait on the northside of pier.

The time is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). This is live, its just that right now PST is 8 hours behind of UTC.
