Re: Rule Change

Official rules changes were directed at rule #12 and #27 and will be posted this afternoon. The changes will read as follows:

12. Skin and Freediving will all be combined for the Master Board. RULES: Skin and Freediving will be defined as a diver holding his and/or her breath while using a gun with a LINE, CABLE, RIDING RIG, and/or REEL attached to itself.
(NO FLOATS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED IN SKINDIVING AND/OR FREEDIVING for the Master or Skindiving Board) Diver must land the fish without any assistance until returning too the boat.
NOTE: These rules DON’T NECESSARILY follow the LCUDC rules for skindiving and freediving.

27. Blue Water Division - Categories include five (5) fishes, YELLOW FIN TUNA, BLACK FIN TUNA, WAHOO, DORADO, AND MISCELLANEOUS (all legal fishes not listed).

Blue Water Division will be defined as a diver using FLOATS and/or BUOYS for any of the five fish categories already listed. NO fish shot with the use of floats or buoys will be allowed on the Master or Skindiving Boards.

Not true. (I feel like I'm repeating myself) If you shoot an Amberjack with a buoy, it would go under Bluewater miscellaneous. If you feel a fish is too big to use a reel, by all means, don't do it!

Rules or up on www.helldivers.org.
