Alaskan heading to Maui/kuai

I'll be heading to Maui/kuai for some r&r. I'd love to meet up for a dive if anyone would be willing to point me in the right direction. I'll be cruising around camping and playing in the ocean. I've got good spots in alaska for halibut and salmon but nothing in Hawaii. Not hell bent on killing, just interested in checking out some cool freedive spots.
Thanks,
Nick

I'll be there 10/13-18. 33 years old . I'm advanced level here on the west coast, like I said I don't have much blue water time.

Sounds good man. DM me your info. I'll take a chance. If the weather presents an opportunity while you're here. I'll try and get you out on my boat.
Can you hunt the bottom in 80+ feet? Sorry for the questions, just trying to get an idea of where you're at.

Hey man I really appreciate it! However, I'm not much of a blue water guy, I think the deepest I've dove is 50 ft and minimal bottom time there. Don't think I can even make 80. Don't want to waste your time. I'm hoping to target something shallower. Just trying to get some fish taco meat for the camp fire. Or maybe shellfish?
