Cool An Answer To Fermi's Paradox

An Answer To Fermi's Paradox

FORBES 8-22-18

FROM THE ARTICLE

"A new theory suggests why we haven’t heard from anyone: The aliens live underwater—locked away in the immense underground oceans of their home planets, beneath miles of rock or ice, with no way to reach us."

Re: An Answer To Fermi's Paradox

well maybe the aliens are already here, and living below our planets surface...

Within the past few days, we have seen an enormous magnitude 7.3 earthquake hit Venezuela and a giant magnitude 8.2 earthquake hit Fiji. Where will the next one strike?

To many of us, it is becoming exceedingly clear that something very unusual is happening to our planet. I went and looked it up, and I was astounded to learn that the crust of the Earth has been shaken by 144 major earthquakes over the last 7 days, and that includes more than 50 on Sunday alone.

And remember, these are not small earthquakes. The USGS considers any earthquake that is at least magnitude 4.5 to be “significant”, and they are happening so rapidly right now that it is difficult to keep up with them.

or maybe a few scientists have way too much time and mind altering drugs

The Fermi Paradox basically says that given the many planets out there, the chances that we are alone is astronomical. So, at some point if we find that no other life exists, doesn't that almost prove that God exists and we are his children?

Re: An Answer To Fermi's Paradox

Well the aliens have probably been studying us and noted the incredible amount of wars we have had for like forever. They probably also have noted what happens when we discover a new people, such as native americans.
On a more scientific note, space is a really big place, and has been around for a really long time. Thus advanced civs. just are not reachable. Our galaxy has maybe four hundred billion stars, and there are a couple hundred billion galaxies. That is today's count. The nearest star is light years away. If you dig around planet earth for a bit, you will find that most elements can only be produced by an exploding star or supernova. Thus earth was formed from a star that reached the end of it's lifetime. So the possibilities for life are astronomical.
Also, if you look around earth, you will find that there are bizarre life forms existing in every conceivable habitat, from hydrothermal vents to deep caves that have adapted to their environments. Thus it would seem almost certain that any planet having any reasonable climate would have life.
I'm not sure why life only on earth would support the existence of God. Why handcuff God from being creative? Furthermore, if the universe started with one big bang, who lit the fuse?

Re: An Answer To Fermi's Paradox

According to scientists there are between 5 and 10X as many stars as there are grains of sand on all of the earth's beaches. So if the universe were objective in the sense that is generally taught by the society, then that would make other civilizations all but a certainty.

We aren't though according to many of the most famous of minds in modern physics, (Leonard Suskind at Stanford) living in an objective reality. Instead we are part of a holographic projection from a distant 2 dimensional information field which is substantially identical to the event horizon around a black hole (which contains all of the information about things which have gone into it).

The holographic model supports the existence of a creative agency (many referring to this creator as "God"). After all there would need to be someone manning the projector and of course it is a whole lot deeper than that, since the Creator would also be the designer of the information field.

When the teachings from metaphysics, contemporary new age cults/religions and even established religions are looked at in concert with the findings of quantum mechanics and black hole theory then one must realistically consider that the reality we experience is created specifically and only for us (including on an individual basis). In this case then, if it is in the cards for you, as designed by the Creator, for you to experience a universe in which other civilizations exist, then that is the universe that you inhabit. It has nothing to do with big bangs, entropy or a whole lot of other mechanisms, which many have been tools for the Creator but which have no independent power to create anything.

On a more somber note, the degree of personal autonomy, choice making and related drivel that you seem to have is very likely an illusion.

Nice conclusion. What created the solid mass in an empty vacuum of 'space' and why did it 'bang'?
What am I? Star dust. I'm the original bangster!

,,,and about the same number of atoms in a grain of sand.
