Completed 60" hybrid build

This design was heavily influenced by Gil's hybrids and Woodguy's Gil tribute gun. I always loved the lines on those guns and studied the pictures quite a bit before building this one. The gun is 60", set up with three 14mm small ID bands at 350% stretch. This was my first time using Alexander components (trigger and handle), both of which are bombproof.

Nice design and a beautiful result. Good to hear who has inspired you.

Does the carbon tube have a track. How did you make sure it aligned perfectly with the mortise for the trigger?

Let us know how it shoots.

Yes, that barrel has an integrated track. The easiest way to align the barrel with the trigger is to use a shaft. Place the shaft on the track and then make sure it slides easily in and out of the mechanism while the mech is set into the mortise.

Hopefully I will be testing this out in the pool tonight.

Beautiful speargun.
By the way I love the page you made on your website for your first hybrid roller. Really instructive, thanks for posting that too.
