That kind of sounds like the concoctions my wife comes up with when we're in Mexico. Lot's of fruits with lot's of different Rums. I've actually started to try different Mezcal's down there too. They have some real nice, real smooth mezcal I never knew existed. None of that nasty crap with the worm.

The cigar and rum is a good, I recommend it be a staple! Enjoy.

Re: Spearboard bar

Just got some NUB Cafe Cappuccino cigars to try out.If you love coffee these thing are a great for a treat.Sweet tip and really smooth. They arent cheap so I will be saving them for cool nights.
Also got some Rocky Patel Decades in 5"but they need to stay in the humidor for a week or more before I burn one.
Going to burn the Decade Cameroon for the Eclipse.Probably going to do a paddleboard party to watch it.That cigar is an easy 45 minute cigar

Re: Spearboard bar

Our last trip to TN was for my daughter's graduation. Had to stop by the Dickel distillery and picked up some Dickel 17

Haven't cracked a bottle yet as it was a very limited supply and only sold on site. Bought more than I should have only to put it away as an 'investment'.

The only thing I enjoy now is Dickel barrel select with 2 ice cubes.

Liked the NUB Cappuccino cigars so I ordered a 12 pack of the full size Cappucino,Espresso and Machiato cigars.Local store wanted around 9 bucks a stick!Cigarbid I got 12 for 44 bucksThey are delicious. You can smell the dark chocolate and coffee in the air and they have a sweet tip but not overdone.Going to be adding these to the regular humidor inventory.

Re: Spearboard bar

cut back on government over-reach...

http://savecigarcity.com

Children do not smoke premium cigars.
http://savecigarcity.com/index.php/new-research

there is no statistically significant increase in mortality for adults who smoke fewer than one cigar per day. As explained above, data show that 96.7% of premium cigar consumers smoke fewer than one cigar per day and the median premium cigar consumer smokes 1.7 days out of every 30 days. Accordingly, for the 96.7% of premium cigar consumers who smoke fewer than one cigar per day, data show no increase in mortality.

Re: Spearboard bar

I need to stock up on some sticks. When it gets hot my consumption of cigars and alcohol slows down a lot.Evenings in July in the higher elevations can go down to the 50s-60s to enjoy a nice cigar and good coffee.
Raspberry Mojito sounds damned good though!

Re: Spearboard bar

Sold a paddleboard so I ordered some sticks.Got my usual La Perla Black Pearls,Nub Cappuchino and a sampler of Partagas.
I usually wait a week or two for them in the humidor but I grabbed a Partagas 1845 with a cup of Bustello coffee on the porch to hang out with the birds.I love this cigar. Not a full bodied smoke (probably medium or lighter)but it has a very creamy smoke and was good to the very end.Im hoping I can get a good bid on a box for fall fishing season.

Re: Spearboard bar

I normally partake in a good IPA but I do like an occasional sip...Especially if i can get a bottle of Bushmills. Was at our plant in Ireland in January and probably had a few too many glasses of Bushmills 16 straight up.

Wifes favorite is Cosmo

In a shaker full of ice

2.5oz Good Citron Vodka
1oz Cointreau (orange liqueur)
1oz cranberry juice cocktail (straight cranberry juice if you want it more tart)
0.5oz fresh lime juice (wife like a bit less so I just do a Teaspoon or so)
Cut fresh garnish of orange peel over glass

Shake well untill very cold and Pour in the glass. Very good drink that isnt too sweet. Careful though they are potent...and PINK! LOL
