Re: Scientists Identify First Sign Of Alzheimer's Disease
My grandfather and my father were both diagnosed with this disease at the age of 72ish. My grandfather has long passed away and we just put my father in a home. I accept that I don't have a chance at not getting it but this is encouraging news. I always hoped that there would be a cure/prevention so no one would have to suffer their fate. I've looked around the internet to see if there were any studies on hyperbaric medicine and lessening Alzheimer's chances. Kind of a wild thought process but maybe this sport (and the pressures we subject our bodies to) that I, and all of us enjoy might save my ass from their fate. Just a thought. Thanks for the info.
