Loving the MAKO Carbon Fiber Pole Spear with the Sp-3 Slip Tip. Even though a poorly shot mutton does pull off in the video and was landed by my buddy.

Beautiful diving conditions. Aren't Parrot fish legal in the Bahamas? I hear they're a delicious white meat much akin to Hogfish.

I heard the same thing. A few years ago I Shot a pretty Blue one and we ate it and the meat was soft and mushy and the flavor was not good. Doubt I will take another one.

Huh...good info. Years ago I once seen one on a reef in the Tampa bay area, which is uncommon. It was then I researched it. Guess maybe I got some bad info?

Cool video thanks for sharing, great stalk on the mutton. I've had parrot before and agree with Jim - mushy texture and not that good.
