AB Biller
Hey guys!
I recently bent the tip (not the entire shaft) of my AB Biller 42 special. Is there a way that I can remove just the speartip and replace this piece as opposed to the whole shaft? Thanks! |

Re: AB Biller
Unless you have the "Floridian" shaft, the tip unscrews and you can screw on a new one, provided you didn't damage the threaded end. If you did damage the end you would be ahead of the game to grind it to a point and add a flopper, thus making it into a "Floridian shaft".
Actually, you would be ahead just skipping to that step and making it a Floridian shaft. I think ALL the screw on tips are a waste of time...If you need one, I will sell it to you..I probably have Every one! Last edited by SEATUX; 07-25-2020 at 04:34 PM. Re: AB Biller
Okay, thanks for the response. I'm assuming they are difficult to unscrew - requiring a couple pairs of vice grips to do the job?

Re: AB Biller
Maybe...
Just clamp the shaft in a vise and use channel locks to unscrew the tip... |
