Help with Zodiac fc470 floor

I recently purchased a Zodiac FC470 with the roll up aluminum floor and was looking for help with an idea. I had an Achilles 14' with a small center console and was hoping to switch everything over to the new boat. My thought was to use a single sheet of plywood on top of the existing roll up floor with a bolt through each of the slats to create a stable floor to mount the console to. If anyone has experience with these boats or inflatables in general and could give me some insight that would be great. I am not awesome with wood working and am on a very tight budget. attached is the existing setup on the Achilles and a super detailed drawing of the proposed plywood floor placement on the new zodiac. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
