Another rough tournament!

Looks like the weather gods are going to blow us again like they did for the SBO. Someone sacrifice a chicken or something to knock this wind down!!

Re: Another rough tournament!

I would not get too excited, everything I am seeing seems to indicate that most of the wind will be well south. The wave forecast does not look bad.

Re: Another rough tournament!

ANY weather forecast past 2-3 days is hogwash. It's way too early to predict what Sat is going to be like.

Re: Another rough tournament!

We need 2-3 foot waves just to ventilate the hull properly on plane.

Good thing we have a lot of killer prizes.

Re: Another rough tournament!

Morning

Light and variable winds with smooth seas. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: SE 3 to 4 knots
Seas: SSE 1 feet at 5 sec.
Afternoon

Light and variable winds with smooth seas. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: WNW 4 to 5 knots
Seas: SSE 0 feet at 4 sec.

That'll work! Hell, I may rent a bass boat to run to the Elbow!
