Looking for older nautical chart

Im looking for someone who has a natucal chart, an older one, that has the loran lines so I can get the outside markers loran numbers to each channel from anna maria to bayport.. they all should be on the same chart.. the reason I need this is I have a older Sitex gps that I can convert to loran numbers and I have to reset the numbers at each outside marker to it accurate to that area.... When Im at the house its accurate "in loran numbers" that my actual loran use it use to be working, but when I get to the water its off .15 of a mile for distance.. so If I can get the outside marker numbers in loran, a.k.a. LOP's, my problem would be solved and I can l use my gps as a loran... and yes I know they have a conversion deal you can get, but I posted already a while back my house Loran numbers and everyone that had one wrote back with the conversion gps numbers to see if its accurate, and not one was pinpoint.. most were off .50 mile or greater.., I would even be interested in purchasing it if you want to sell it.. just let me know.. thanks...

What trick photography did you use to make it look like Gags are abundant out there? All of us are wrong, only the commission knows the count. I wish one or two of them could have been with you to see what really exists.
Good video. I have the chart you're looking for but can't relinquish it. It has too many of my numbers marked on it. I'll copy my channel Mkr. numbers for you,
Ray

I converted a land based Loran number someone posted a few years ago and I got him within 70 or 80 feet using my Andren Loran/GPS program. Loran # conversions using GPS units are very unreliable from my experience. The Andren program has "calibration readings" which help make the conversion even more accurate. I don't understand the conversion method you describe above, but if it works............go for it.

I'll take a stab at it.............However, the GPS conversion is only as accurate as the base loran number provided. Meaning, if the Loran number you took was close to "bouncing" between tenths (ie .0 & .1) it will affect the accuracy of the conversion. Since your boat is stationary at your house, you may not be able to tell if there is a tendency for the number to bounce between tenths. I was always very careful when taking my Loran numbers to see if the number (particularly on the 1 line) was bouncing between tenths. The distance between 14320.0 and 14320.1 is about 200ft. If my number was bouncing between 320.0 & 320.1 I knew which direction (ne & sw) to favor when looking for a spot with the Loran. The type of Loran you take the number with can also cause variations. The best conversions come from numbers taken with Sitex & Furuno Lorans. Apelco is probably the worst.

Here is my conversion using the number you provided:
14320.0 44445.3 converts to: 2759.093 8205.313

Here are conversions for 1 line numbers up & down one tenth from the base number of 14323.0. See if one of these is more accurate. If they are, that means your original 1 line number was close to bouncing up or down one tenth.

14323.1 44445.3 = 2759.125 8205.290

14322.9 44445.3 = 2759.071 8205.337
