Some advice plz
I've been stationed down here in Corpus for about a year now and have always been interested in freediving. I had tried to look up more information about it before, but without any success. But thankfully I ran into this site a few days ago. I was wanting to see if anyone could tell me where I could go to start diving from shore, cuz i dont have a boat. I have a buddy down here from hawaii so he was going to give me some instruction on it. I was just wanting to see if there was any place where the water was clear enough to go diving/fishing. I'm very determined to do this as much as possible if I could just find somewhere to go.
Thx Mike |

Re: Some advice plz
You can try Packery. Visability is hit or miss, but that's probably your best bet.
http://www.spearboard.com/showthread.php?t=38345 You can't shoot gamefish in State waters. On the bottom of the page from the Texas screen use the dropdown list to show threads from "last year." then look for posts from me or Bug_Power. Also anything about Packery or San Marcos. That should get you everything you need to know. Have fun!
