Oh yes don't get me wrong. As being a woodworker myself learning the craft since I was a child I am well aware of the craftsmanship involved. I admire the Gladiator guns for their level of quality.
Cnc is just another tool in the toolchest. A good craftsman can do the same with just handtools however it would take a lot longer and it is more difficult to replicate the exact same design. Getting all the curves the way you like them is particularly challenging.
In the end it is always the skill of the craftsman (who hopefully is the designer) that makes the difference. I have myself always resisted the use of cnc machines but today I understand there benefits, there use and application. We run several cnc machines in my company.

The caveat is where we start designing towards the limitations of these cnc machines instead of making sure that our imagination is the primary design engine. (again I am not saying that is the case here, just a comment in general)
