I haven't used the unit dive but I've had multiple nixon watches and advise against them. They look nice but the build quality is not very good, I've had issues with all of mine. It also doesn't calculate surface time.

Yes I'd definitely say it's worth the money. I've got over 100 dives logged and it's been reliable so far. The depth alarm and dive time alarms are perfect and loud enough to hear. Going through the dive logs isn't too difficult but I haven't figured out the first screen of records (dive time shows long intervals such as 40 minutes, probably total time I was in the water). Each log creates a file for the date, then all the individual dives are inside to cycle through.

While I haven't owned any of the higher end computers, this does everything I could ask for and is also small enough to wear daily.
