Anyone leaving right after Capt. Meeting?

I would imagine, weather permitting, several people will be leaving Ballyhoos and heading right out of Anclote or Port Richey. I want to get my vessel out of the channel and into open water before sunset. I need one of my people at the Captain's Meeting, so the issue is getting that person to the boat after the Capt's Meeting. All his stuff would be loaded on my boat, so there would be no labor involved, just taking him a couple of miles offshore where he can board my vessel. I can meet at a convenient place from Anclote or Port Richey. Thanks.

Thumbs up Re: Anyone leaving right after Capt. Meeting?

Scott, I can help with this, no problem. I'll probably be leaving out of Nick's Park in Port Richey.

Thanks, John. That would be great. I hate to miss the Captain's Meeting, but my prop guy has taken enough of my money this year. I think low tide is 11:00PM out of the Cotee that night, but you'll have no problems regardless with your outboard motors.

If anyone needs an extra diver on there boat, I would take it as a privledge to dive with some of you. My name is Gray Decker. I grew up here in St. Petersburg but went away to college in San Diego. I just moved back and trying to meet everyone again. I have been diving since I was 12, Certified as a Master Diver through SSI, and Nitrox as well. Very anxious to get in the Water Anytime!! So if anyone ever has an extra spot, I have gas and can carry my weight in shooting fish! Thank-you

Re: Anyone leaving right after Capt. Meeting?

I am leaving out of Port Richey ('cottee) after the Capt's meeting and heading to the grounds. I would like to hook up with another boat to run out with and stay within VHF distance of in the MG for safety purposes. (I have my own numbers so I'm not looking to steal numbers.)

We can work together to tell each other if we are finding stuff if you want, but what I want is a wing-man to cover my ass if something goes wrong.

We will run around 28mph probably but we don't have to run together, just hook up at some rendezvous point and stay in contact. If you're not running out of the 'cotte we can meet at some RP out there.

I don't expect you to stay with me or change you plans if I break down.

Let me know if you are interested.

Dave
