As a guide do you have an "instinct " or some local knowlege on when and where these nice treasures will surface or be easily found??(how). Is it a honey hole location you usually target or do wind/sea conditions helps unearth them and you have become skilled at reading the conditions like a bluewater hunter would do. Just curious as to how you focus on any spot or know when your in the right area. This trip seems ideal for me and my girlfriend who loves artifacts , sea glass and pretty stones from the shoreline. Please tell me more about these hunts. Thanks. Congrats on putting that guy on a great find! Good feeling when a plan comes together

But to tell you the truth here it is:
1. I grew up here so I know the area extremely well
2. I have also been diving and boating here for many years so know areas to hunt
3.we breif divers before they dive on best techniques it helps when they listen, most of the divers that had been with us before get better at finding them once they have hunted a few times with us
3. sometimes its PURE LUCK !!! Stuff has been there for millions of years
4. Also have done some research dives in past and mark good and bad areas
5. after storms its much better
6. best part trip is good for everyone who dives kids,wifes,husbands, everyone...... bassically only down is vis gets limtied

I am very interested in taking my teenage girls out for a fossil hunt, sounds cool. Will check your website and get back to ya. Do most divers find some sort of fossil/artifact on each trip or is it like winning the lottery. We spear flounder up here in limited vis, so were used to looking for the needle in the haystack so to say. Thanks
