I would say the 5mm is usually enough when youre spearfishing here. I use the 7mm when freedive training but I do find it generally bulky. Where will you be diving mostly?

Just curious as to how you found the 7mm riffe? I'll be diving for the first time in LA and am looking at either the 5 or 7 riffe but can't decide. people seem to be evenly split.

I'm 6' @ 162lbs and tend to feel the cold. Not sure how this compares to you. Also did you wear it in summer and if so how was that?
