Hi Jeff. i hunt on privatte land, but it is not fenced. they are everywhere on public land. Axis are from India. years ago some farmers tried to fence them on a hunting farm and they got out and multiplied...FAST! anyway they are thick anywhere in the hill country, Kerrville, bandera, medina area.

Hey- I was wondering if you wouldnt mind sharing any more infor on hunting axis deer in texas. Are you hunting private land or how hard are they to find on public? Thanks
