Hi Dr P. I’m building a few short crayfish guns and am following your momobloc tung oil process. Sounds like you did the pockets and holes first, then fitted components before doing the exterior/exposed surface. Did you find the mech didn’t fit and needed the slot sanded back after that many coats? Same question for the pin holes? Thanks in advance.
I like your SUP setup. I'm trying to find a cheaper way to spearfish in the gulf. The inflatable SUP's seem great bc I live in an apt and don't have a lot of storage space, but your 17 foot SUP seems a lot better for the ocean. Were you still able to get to any good spots with the smaller one? Also are you near the Mexico beach area? I know they have reefs kayak-able to shore
