I ordered the woody mag monday and a gulf slip tip. I decided I was going to deal with it, I figured there has to be guys my size using them. I'll let you know how the trip went.

I'm 5'10 and I just started using that extra long woody mag. And I'm fine with it. I'm gonna let my 19 yr. old son use my woody mag this weekend while I use the big gun.
Thanks for the info, I kind of like the wood look and was hoping you would say that. I plan on rigging a riding rig, whoever came up with that was thinking! I'll let you know how the trip went, I'm pumped! Mike
Hey, I'm totally in love with my woody magnums. I've shot the pipe guns for years and this is a huge improvement. I use it with a gulf slip tip (modified by me) and a riding rig. I also use 2 wraps of cable and 2-22" bands and 1-24" band. Hope this helps, after you've rigged it make sure to try it in a pool and if you have any problems just call. I may be able to help.
