Hey scuba I'm up north of Boston on the water and get tons of lobsters here. The water is 45 degrees now but there are still lobsters to be caught, but not many. June is a much better time to catch them. I wouldn't recommend going now. When are you think of doing this?

Can you please let me know when the family plans to have his paddle out? I am dock neighbors with him. He will be missed.

Hey Scuba Fever. I'm a scuba diver as well and I love to go lobster diving. Unfortunately I have only gone out once this season and came back empty handed! How have the bugs been lately? Is it kinda late to get in on it?

Right now you'd do better hitting up the shallow shore reef areas for Lobsters. The Artificial reefs are really only productive after a good storm drives them out of the shallows. Unless you've made many dives on the artificial Reefs, you are gonning to feel overwhelmed by the seemingly unstructured look to the areas. While you may find Bugs, it will be only from hit or miss activity.
Also the MPLA is pure BULL and the artificial reefs are not scheduled to be closed, because its really not about protecting marine life. Good Luck
