Oh you most certainly DID help! I now owe my buddy a swift punch in the arm for the misinformation. I let 3 MONSTERS swim right by yesterday. Not nearly as big as your pic, granted, but still about 2 feet long. I actually just checked online and they need to be OVER 12" to keep! Never again, will I just take someone's word for the legal fishing limits. My meal last night could/should have been a FEAST!!

Quick question for you just to better help my understanding... Am very green to the sport... Is that a sheepshead in you avatar? I just cleaned and ate 7 of those bad boys from yesterday and today. Delicious! BUT I was told that they had to be under 12" to keep. Was I misinformed or is that an entirely different fish in your avatar? Thanks in advance.

Hi true spearo, my name is Patricio and I live in Jacksonville. I am planning to drive to tampa and do some shore spearfishing if it is possible. I am going with a friend who is knew to spearfishing free-diving. We are looking for a good spot to got to. Do you know any good places around that area ??
