Hi Ian! Thanks, LOL ... it will just be different here. I'm excited to learn new skills! Yes, it will be cold and murkier (at least sometimes murkier). I grew up here and used to swim in the Pacific as a kid...I just need to toughen back up, hehe!

I definitely need a new wetsuit ... I've been discussing it on the thread. Need a 7mm for sure! Only have a 1mm and 3mm now, but the Columbia is warm enough if I just want to get my fins wet again ... I just need some people to go with and I know that the coast is better. And apparently I need a new gun too ... my Rob Allen 110 is too big ... so I need to save some $$$.

I'm SSI certified (like a million years ago) and used to be certified as a NOAA scientific diver, but I've never actually taken any freediving courses ... just sort of did it. Anyway, I'm sure I could benefit from a class!

How about Saturday night instead? It looks like I have to be back in Astoria by 7 on Sun night so I pretty much won't be able to dive with Cody. Hopefully you haven't left already? Give me a ring if you're interested in going up Saturday afternoon. 805-300-4407.
