Drbabs, that is a long way to travel to spear freshwater, do you dive Powell much? I hope to once I own a decent boat. Cheers:toast: here's to a good viz Utah season.

I just wish we could use underwater flashlights during the day to see under large rocks logs etc. Diving at night, no thanks for me.

RAC meeting tonight 6:30pm DWR office on North Temple, SLC. We need to have some spearfisherman there, it will be a main topic. If it is at all possible be there.

Damn guess I should have tried Deer Creek yesterday. Echo was 4 to 6 feet vis at best by the dam. All this rain I think has made it worse, still lots of carp to shoot but not much else this trip.

Echo 5-7ft till wind and boats then 4ft minus. 75 degree water temp. I wish the lake was full instead of almost empty. Anybody else make it out this weekend??

Now I'm alittle confused , that first video I saw was all legal shooting, Don't know if you will get them to take them down if it's all legal, but I understand your point.

Looks like a river sucker fish, I see them in the creeks and rivers in the city, usually blueish on top silvery on bottom, thats my guess. Hope not a June sucker, but don't know how it could have...

Causey can be really clear, or really muddy early in the year, deep lake for the most part, 3 streams coming into it one on each arm of the lake. Alot of cliff jumping partying teens usually at...

Deer Creek today vis was down from last week to 5-8 ft where I was, maybe from all the wind last night, fish seen same as last week no walleye.
