That stuff is the epoxy or whatever is used to keep the sharkfin in place. Not rust.

This is the sharke fin pulled off the shaft. It looks to be make out of aluminum. It has a pin that goes in a hole.

Those shark fins tabs are only held in place with an epoxy adhesive. It pulls loose from the shaft. I had one pull out while loading a band. I also lost a shaft when the shark fin pulled off after...

Those numbers you posted are all on parts of pelican flats. I still used loran numbers to find my spots. I have three gps that have different offsets for the different areas I fish. I can probably...

It looks like the lorans numbers which are in lat/lon format are what his loran converted the td to lat lon. This was always a bad conversion and would never translate to GPS lat lon.

Most of the spots in to the north are not on a chart. Do you have a boat or are you talking about going from shore?

There are some legdes around the northern part of the county in depths ranging from 35-50 ft. Visiblity is an issue and we only get a few chances and top to bottom vis. Further south off melbourne...
