Went out to the 70' depth range. Jumped in and looked down to see the sand and reef edge. Still gumbo. Just not as bad. I got a 21 3/4" mangoe :D and thought you belong out in the Elbow or MG. Horz....

Years ago, spearing was the main method of hog harvesting. Now, many target hogs by hook and line too. Also, in the last 2 years more boats fishing/spearing in our area.
