Completed Roller Build
Just finished up a new roller gun. This is my third single roller build. Teak and padauk, 50" overall length, small ID band, 9/32" shaft, Ermes double roller. Can't wait to give a test in the pool.

Re: Completed Roller Build
I had it in the pool this morning. That new Ermes trigger is super smooth and overall the gun has very little recoil. Really happy with this one.
In the video, linked below I was shooting from 2 wrap distance, about 18 feet away from the target. https://vimeo.com/252404692 |

** using oil with different woods won't cause de-lamination ? ** distance between trigger and handle is little large? I usually keep it within 5 to 6 .5 cm outer distance . |

Re: Completed Roller Build
Very nice and great job! Try a shaft that has a dog house so that you can tie further up front. This will help flatten the trajectory. I would also think about putting a friction layer on the contact areas of the grip.
Edit: Forget the doghouse comment as I see you have that already in the other picture. |
