Southwest Florida Open April 30 - May 2, 2010
The Southwest Florida Spearfishing Club is getting everything ready for the Second Annual Southwest Florida Open. We have a new venue for this year at Salty Sam's Marina and the Big Game Bar & Grill. This is a great location and this promises to be an even bigger event than last year. Rules and registration forms are up on our website at www.swflspearfishing.org. We will have a great prize table again this year thanks to our many sponsors who support this event.

Biggsy and Frank,
Great selection on the venue. That place is great to hold the weigh in, lunch and awards. Fun !!! Planning on shooting again, if the water happens to warm up betweeen now and then  Last year you had 85 shooters if I rememember for the 1st year and some great prizes as well.

I hope it'll be WARM BY THEN!? Sheesh! I thought we were in FLORIDA! I didn't compete in the last one, but drove down to see familiar faces and support my girls, Lyn, Jen and Laura. I was impressed with out seamless everything was and the amount of prizes! Nice work!
If it's warm, maybe I'll enter too

We have the artwork completed for the T-Shirts and it looks good. Early registration gets a free shirt otherwise the shirts will be $20.00. Here is a picture of the artwork. Hope to see everyone there this year. Rules and registration information is on our website at

Captain's meeting will be held tonight at the Big Game Bar and Grill next to Salty Sam's Marina (2500 Main Street - Fort Myers Beach, FL) from 5:30 - 7:30.
