magdalena bay, Baja, Mexico
About do cross from San Carlos to the beach 6 km west. We want to camp there and fish the bay.
I see some house on the point, any guesthouses there? Anyone kayak dive that area before?

Re: magdalena bay, Baja, Mexico
Years ago I camped and north of where you are close to El Faro. Fished and dove the bay, could not make it outside Boca de Santo Domingo because of the large swell.
Inside the bay there was goruper and small pargo in the mangrove channels as well as orange mouth corvina and lots of spotted bass. Found a couple halibut in the sandy side of the channel towards the boca. Watch out for tides, current can be ripping. Best time to dive was high tide, viz was poor, 3 meters or less. There was of lots of grass and floating matter when the tide was moving. Looking forward your report. Good luck ! |

Thanks, that's what I'm trying to avoid. The objective is the pacific side obviously. I hope to have time to attempt it. I have until the 4 of march because I'm heading to Gabon that's another story lol
