Riffe OR!? Koah. I realize there are no bad choices here.

so I was looking for something in the range of 100-120cm which is what I have now. (abbiller) I like a Euro even possibly with a small stock on it.

Thoughts?

thanks guys!

Question to the koah guys
Does the shape bother you at all? I've never seen one in person but in the pics they look like someone rough cut a gun and hit em with the sander... Just blocky and somewhat unfinished. I know you Florida boys kill all kinds of stuff with them so they work for sure but especially with spearguns, aesthetics and functionality are not mutually exclusive at all. There are so many builders who build gorgeous guns out of wood that send shafts down range the same way...

I agree. Nothing bad to say but I personally think spearguns shouldn't have a flat edge on them, especially on the sides.

Re: Riffe OR!? Koah. I realize there are no bad choices here.

I've never understood this whole blocky description that people who don't own koahs speak of. It's really hard to take a photo with such a glossy finish but the only part that is flat othe side is about a 1/4 while above and below it is tapered and rounded off. The back where the handle is flat and the muzzle is flat but it doesn't affect any tracking. My koah euro is a straight shooting ass kicking fish killer. I've used my buddies riffe euro while I was waiting on shafts, and I was pissed at the difference between the two. On some of the longer mid handles there may be a longer flatter side, but not on the euros, those are older photos his site (just like almost every other builders site) and the newer guns are shaped much better.

Measure the sides on an AB biller and tell me how much flat sides on guns affect performance. Wait I'll do it

1+ inch(biller) vs >1/4 inch (koah)

To each their own, If you look at the euro I built it doesn't have a bunch of crazy lines for shaping. John is local in my area and is a stand up guy who backs his products.

We as consumers have tons of options when it comes to spearguns. Pick what you like and go skull F**k some fish with it

What guns are you comparing it to that makes you say that? I'm having a tough time believing you because I was not born blind.

Curious...which one do you think is blockier?
