got a personal best cubera
[/b]Speared my personal best cubera snapper a few weeks ago.It went 69 lbs in 115 ft of water offshore jax.we got some nice bugs and pompano as well.Heres the youtube link

Awesome job! They really are monsters and that guy took you for a ride. Seeing you try to finish him reminded me of the cubera I shot last year and how hard their skulls are. You need more of an icepick than a knife to get into their skulls.

Yes that was on due east charters.Capt randy Marshall.Im sure he would take free divers on the boat.And that other fish was a smaller Cubera about 20 lbs...didn’t weigh it though.but it had a full rack of teeth
