Jupiter Saturday 5-4-2019

Did quite a few drops looking for fish. Decent vis, slight north current and definitely cooler on the bottom.
We didn't find any grouper, but got a few decent fish. I was shooting high and made things much harder for myself and my buddy.

Thanks for sharing Jim. Good stuff. That hammerhead was beautiful. Not always a beautiful sight while carrying a bag of fish though.

Thanks, no videos or reports of people getting groupers? I saw a few very small gags, nothing else.

I did my usual vacation in Sebastian and got gags in 130 on a small wreck I always hit. I put a shaft in a way big cuberra and he shook it. I'll try and get some stills pulled later as we just got home. Weather was pretty crappy for two solid weeks giving us only a couple of days to shoot.

Spoke to some guys in the big fishing tournament out of the port and quite a few nice gags were turned in so they are out there.

Thanks for sharing video! Nice of your buddy to hand your Sheep back over! Hammer is so cool to see, until he decides to hang and follow you up and look to be more than a special guest star in your video!!

Re: Jupiter Saturday 5-4-2019

Thanks for the comments and also for Moose to show us some cool pictures! Hopefully we can see some video too!

As for help, my son had to shoot a sheepshead I dropped and a mutton who shook a shaft. thank goodness the camera was off for that bad shot.

Re: Jupiter Saturday 5-4-2019

My 17 year old daughter shoots with me occasionally when she gets the invite. She is an awesome spotter and in her first tourney took a 3rd in Jrs banging out about a 12# gag. So epic to get to dive with and mold the future. Glad your son was out representing Jeff!!

I got out Wednesday for the first time since opener, small but legal black with a nice mutton as well as a good eating yellow jack. Didnt see any large grouper but i wasnt able to dive my deep spots because of big storms out deeper. Fun day with some good table fare.
