Hey I'll vouch for Captain Bill . Always had a fun safe trip , always shot fish . It's a perfect "quickie trip " for a few tanks.

One of the origional posts to this thread was in 06. Are there any other spear friendly charters in the Boynton area besides the starfish? Nothing aginst them just want more than one option.

There is going to be a new shop and boat in the Boynton area towards the end of July, Pirate Divers. www.piratediverspalmbeach.com. Spearfishing is welcome.

They are going to try and set up just trips with people wanting to spearfish, I belive it will be six at time, as for mixing hunter with non-hunters I think they want to try and avoid that.

I am sure we can set things up. We need enough people to fill a boat but if it is freediving they want thats what we will do.

A new charter company has just opened shop in Ft. Myers. They run diving, and spearfsihing charters. They are just starting out so send them some love.

Ocean Quest Scuba in West Palm Beach also is very hunter friendly, both for spear guns and lobster hunting. Nice boat with game cooler, spear gun rack, filet station and ice at the end of the trip. www.oceanquestscuba.com

There seems to be a serious lack of hunter friendly charters serving broward and miami. Check out Blue Runner Dive Charters in Dania Beach, operated by Coastal Marine Diving Supplies. Costal Marine is a full service dive shop and Aqua Lung dealer. They have been in business in Dania Beach since 1963 but they have just started the charter up last summer. The boat goes out of the seafair docks right across from the Dania Beach Pier. They usually do wreck and reef dives and the trips are mixed. Very experienced, very knowledgable.
