New speargun
I have finished the Replacement for my favorite gun ,add more ideas learnt from prevoius guns , using MICA powder mix with epoxy and resin handle with new design ,will try soon .

I am going to try the second pin as my prevoius gun was fail , the 1/8 distance from trigger is very small and not give enough strength .

reinforce your build with carbon/kevlar laminations, not only will it protect the wood but it will reinforce it as well.

thanks for your advice ,I have almost finish the paint ,previously I have did some nice work with carbon fiber but I got some kind of skin allergy ,Is their any other way ?

Long sleeve, respirator and about 3-4 layers of gloves. I would try to cut the carbon in an open environment and the lamination part in a well vented place.

latest pictures ,yesterday I have tried the gun ,it shoot accurate however 130*7.5mm very heavy for this gun ,I think 120*7 will be much better

Looking good!!! I like the paint job.
How thick of shaft are you using to need so much wood? From here it looks like (unless you are using a VERY dense wood)... that you could do with a lot less wood in the stock. I have two semi-identical guns now in the works (one for me, one for my 10 year old daugther), I will try to post some pictures soon. I still need to prepare the trigger guards and rig them. Mikel |
