Out of Ft. DeSoto 7-29-2022
Headed out to 104' and slowly worked in to 85'. Then, one quick last stop in 67'. Sun was bright and no cloud cover. Thought the vis. might have improved
 . Thought wrong . It was shoot able by swimming and gliding slowly. Horz. vis. varied from 10' to 6'. It was like diving after the sun has just set. Zapped my self once with the shark shield while stringing up a goe. Felt it thru the dive glove. The 3 of us brought back 6 decent gags, a few hogs, and some goes. My friend Gene ended up with a huge MG size goe that measured almost 27".

Vis in 70 foot south of clearwater also very bad yesterday.. that is one fat Go.. congrats.. we got on some nice lane snapper yesterday in 70 foot.. ended up with 17.. dont know what happen this year with the vis, but seems like the shallower area's is much better vis.. or 50 foot out of bayport has been top to bottom..
