Out of Ft. DeSoto 7-29-2022

Headed out to 104' and slowly worked in to 85'. Then, one quick last stop in 67'. Sun was bright and no cloud cover. Thought the vis. might have improved . Thought wrong. It was shoot able by swimming and gliding slowly. Horz. vis. varied from 10' to 6'. It was like diving after the sun has just set. Zapped my self once with the shark shield while stringing up a goe. Felt it thru the dive glove. The 3 of us brought back 6 decent gags, a few hogs, and some goes. My friend Gene ended up with a huge MG size goe that measured almost 27".

Pretty much at all depths. One of the guys was back out in that area Tuesday scouting for new spots. Remarked that the vis had gotten worse.
