You got that right. There's been a few depth finder pics over the years that are permanently etched into my mind. And that morning on WW is def one of them!

I don't have any personal experience with the shark shield. July and August are about the worst months in this area for Sandbars and Duskys. Yeah, low viz and lots of biters, fun fun fun.

Dan, I'm going to have access to some new multi-beam side scan technology in a few weeks that can produce images like this. Some scientists are installing it on my boat for the summer. The main purpose is fish aggregation research, but maybe I can share some bottom structure shots. Tony

Def intriguing pictures Tony. It'll be very interesting to watch this technology improve for smaller boats. Towed behind units and transom mounted units that only read to 60 feet on a flat day are not very useful to an offshore diver.

Looking forward to details about what you install on your boat and some real world deeper pic's.
