Re: New in Panama

Hey Marco,

Have you found any charters or anyone to dive with close to Panama City? I'll be there on May 6 and would like to get a day of spearfishing while I am there. Shoot me a Pm if you have any info you would like to share.

Thanks!

Actually I'm not looking for charters but for spearfishing mates.

There's a lot here, but you know how it is when you're new in town... They think you're gonna steal "their" fish.

There are charters thoug. Try this one:

Or this other one:

http://panamadeepwaters.com/index.php/aventura/

They both operate from Panama City.

YES, its always very hard to start on a new place, hopefully you will find lots of people to go spearfishing with, I will say they will be lucky to have you as a friend.

Thank you Roberto! It was also a pleasure for me to share experiences in the water with such a gentleman and accomplished spearo.

Without a doubt, I could say that some of the happier years of my life were spent when I lived (and dived) in Puerto Rico. What a nice place with friendly people!

However, my "spearing situation" here in Panama had improoved a little since I started this thread. Also thanks to this thread, truth has to be said.

I was able to go out with three very nice guys I met here at the board.

Thank you my friend!
