Re: Exploring
Ran over a great show and after a little mowing, found this new spring. Full of big Mangos and AJ's,

Re: Exploring
Newly discovered Spring in 400'....chewed my finger nails half off wanting to dive it. Didn't have the needed mixes. Going to try and hit it later this year. I need to take a free diver there and drop 'em over it....

Re: Exploring
SH11, I guess the Kittys....they get much larger, but the Comb's are so rare on the West Florida Shelf, that they're pretty special too. This is only the second one I've speared in 40 years of diving out here.

If you hear some banging around in your fishbox on the way out there just ignore it, thats me as a "stowaway". J/K, but in all seriousness very cool pics. I love the pics of the bottom machine, that gets my blood moving.

Nothing like having all those donuts in the ocean pay off.I do donuts in between dives on unknown numbers I have.Few pan out but the ones that do can be epic.Always cool to find a new wreck.

Re: Exploring
Well. Years ago on 15%, one diver proclaimed that it was a Submarine. After videoing it recently, I thinks it's safe to say that while it def isn't a sub, it does appear to be a large Jet plane. Notice the swept back wings. The diver on the left is on the bottom directly next to the plane and offers a great scale/size reference. Guess I'm going to have to research this also. Going to get AUE Mike involved over a few beers this week!
Anybody got any ideas about it, please express them!

Does the plane appear to be upside down like many of the planes we have found over here lately? Here again is the blow-up of the video frame, but color corrected an bit. Thanks for sharing, Tony |

Re: Exploring
Tony. as a swag estimate...I think the wings are probably around 60' long. No measurements were taken but I would think that's in the ballpark. Heres a pic of the wing. Maybe some areo buffs can tell something from that?
