Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

My experience has been that it takes at least 2-3 calm days < 10 knots and we are not going to get that for at least another week or so A light Easterly is best to clear it up.

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Im looking to go out Monday 10 miles out of clearwater or Johns pass! I know its gonna be rough tomorrow which will not help with visibility. I'm wondering which might be better visibility 10 miles west out of Clearwater or 10 miles west out of Johns pass?!? Thanks, Ty

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Went out today off Anna Maria Island. At 3 miles, 30 feet deep, vis was maybe 10 feet at best. Went to ledges in 45 to 55 feet and the vis was 20-30 feet. Limited out on hog on our first spot in 45 feet.
