Abellan Denton 120 Mod

Had some free time on my hands so decided to mess around with my Denton 120.. Everything thing was done by hand unfortunately since hurricane Maria Destroyed the island still no power for over a month now so no fancy power tools except my trusty battery powered dremel so its not perfect but pleased with how it turned out.. some of the things done..a new muzzle because i thought the original stainless steel one was very soft and bent easily also i made the muzzle bigger to accomodate a third rubber for my 8.5mm Devotosub shaft..a custom grip as per spearq8 to handle some of that recoil..also made a new cover for the lead ballast on the back recessed so it looked more streamlined than the original cover just sitting on top of the wood also some custom graphics painted Under the epoxy just because it looked a little plain with all that carbon fiber my instagram name on the top and Abellan model on the bottom and last but not least a beautiful ermes sub double roller mech didnt know about a short version of the mech until after i ordered it so ofcourse i got the long version which took alot to make it work because i wanted to use to same location for the wing screws as the abellan mech would recommend getting the shorter one if youre replacing your abellan mech.. but all in all plenty of more power over the 2 bands now with the 3rd band making it able to shoot the 8.5mm shaft quite nicely ..curious to know how much of a difference in power it would have in comparison to the albacore 130... maybe spearq8 can try it out in his pool ..Anyway let me know what u think guys..

Seriously impressive work. Let us know how that 3rd band works out with the 8.5 shaft.

That is a gorgeous gun. I would be scared to put all that work into making my guns that beautiful for fear of getting all scratched up.

For my first time working with epoxy i think its fairly easy to work with that if ur gun gets scratched up too badly just scuff with some 320 grit and mix up a batch and coat over.. but ure right scratching is inevitable...

Most definitely subsub.. cant go to a battle without returning with scars and sometimes being out there hunting some of these fish can be a battle
