Merry Christmas from Germany
Unfortunately I couldn't go due to recent surgery, but here is my wife and our daughter and her two kids and husband.
I hate to miss a good Brunello. They celebrated a day early so Nancy can spend Christmas day flying home. This is a double posting, but I know some of you guys never peek outside of the CA forum. I hope you all have a great Christmas with your loved ones. |

Re: Merry Christmas from Germany
It was great when I shot wild ones, but I haven't done that since I left Texas.
The frigging goose I bought yesterday cost $77. I may have to sell a Wong. |

Re: Merry Christmas from Germany
Merry Christmas to you also Bill, sorry to hear you could not make the trip to Germany this year. You like goose do you? Well if I get out for some this next year I will take one for you. Since I cannot dive anymore (inner ear is still an issue) I got back into terrestrial hunting. I have spent this season getting outfitted with gear including a shotgun, I even got Erika a shotgun and she cannot wait to go get some waterfowl.

Re: Merry Christmas from Germany
Good to hear you've found a good substitute for diving Jeff. If you end up with too many geese, I'll be glad to help.
In the meantime, maybe I could substitute doves. This is the scene under my bird feeder this morning. Its probably just as well that I didn't go. Nancy got the very last seat from Dulles to LAX last night. If there had been two of us, I would have had to leave her at the gate. Last edited by Bill McIntyre; 12-26-2012 at 01:11 PM. |
