SI - Thermo's in but so are the fish!
Went out of Sebastian Sat with my good buddy HawgDawg. Bad news is thermo’s most definitely in, along with 10-15 ft vis with it. The good news is, the fish are in too! Freediving in 60-75 feet we absolutely killed it. Don’t remember a day when both me and Hawg decided we didn't want to shoot anymore fish cause we didn't want to have to clean them all. Shot all the mangroves we wanted and also landed 2 cobia and a king. Gotta love those 10 lb mangroves!!!!!

The thermo is almost nice because it's so damn hot!
Nice mangos, so much fun getting into the big schools like that.

Jimmy m,
If this is who I think it is, great to hear from you and welcome to SB! Yeah, I'm trying but at age 47, recent spinal fusion surgery, and my 2 young sons who live with me the majority of the time, it's tough. Although, this past year I've got pretty serious into road cycling and that definitely seems to be helping my freediving. I leave for the Nationals in Kona in a few days. I'm on a pretty good team this year so, we'll see. If you ever wanna head north and do some diving, just let me know. You're always welcome on my boat! Scott |

Thanks Scott
I am very proud of you making the team again and wish you the best in Hawai at the nationals I know you wil make Florida proud. We had to sell the keys home after the parents died to pay the estate taxes but would look forward to getting together for dive. Jimmy |

Re: SI - Thermo's in but so are the fish!
I'm interested in the vis as well. I've got a couple of 12 year olds that are itching to dive and maybe spear a few fish. I want them to have a positive experience so I'm hoping for some decent vis in about 40' in the vero area.
Any info is appreciated. |

We were on tanks. 55ft had about 6ft of vis. 70 ft had about 30ft of vis. Temp was around 72 otb.

I haven't been in SI. But the port got pretty messed up with that swell. All the way out to 190' is down to 10' or less
