Maybe when somebody eventually dies, the shark feeding craze will slow down. Oh wait, Abernathy's killed 2 customers already. Never mind, scratch that idea.

Whether Abernethy, or Randy Jordan....neither is killing customers....It's like Guns...Guns don't kill people..People do.

Any diver that CHOOSES to go on a baited shark dive, or on a feeding shark dive, is putting themself into this less than safe atmosphere...and each of these people could be said to be part of the potential bad behavior from humans, that could change shark behavior towards us, for the worse.

Hundreds or thousands of divers will make behavioral changes in sharks that render that the solo actions of Abernethy or Jordan pretty much inconsequential.
People don't like to take responsibility for making mistakes, or doing wrong.
I think you should be more pissed at all the photographers that demand that Jordan and Abernethy keep doing shark trips. If the "customers" said they wanted to see turtles or dolphins or goliaths, then the shark issue would not exist.

I gotta disagree my friend. Feeding alligators is against the law. Why? Because the gators loose thier fear of humans and associate us with food.

Perhaps the sharks are indirectly conditioned by our presence, but to directly and intentionally conditiom them is just plain wrong.

To do it for profit knowing that it might lead to the dismemberment or death of others is selfish and unconscionable.

Doesn't seem to really any more complicated than that.

Why? Do you suspect they were hand feeding sharks and don't want to disclose that? With no information to refute the story of a spearfishing attack, I am inclined to believe the story.
