FYI: ZooKeeper Lobster gage - Florida - BAD!!
Just got off the phone with the owner of Zookeeper about the size of their heavy duty metal lobster gage. It is WAY too long. Much longer than any other quality gauge I have.
I called them as a courtesy to let them know there must have been a mistake in their manufacturing. They indicated that "oh no" that was not a mistake "we deliberately made it long so recreational divers will release more lobsters"! The owner indicated that it was designed to be .06 inches over sized, but the one I have looks longer than that to me on my tape measure in the garage. The difference was drastic when compared to other manufacturer's who put out a heavy duty metal gage. It also has a designated slot of 2.88 inches for Stone Crab; I assume that is off as well. They told me I could pay to ship it back to them if I wanted. LOL. Anyway, It looks like it is a good bottle opener.

I've got some good solid ones from MAKO and from KOAH, I think it is. They are identical and seem to be correct.
