Some pics of my own Greenough 17 that the Anderson's built back in 2016, and how we use it. Based outta SB harbor. Say hello if you see me. Looking forward to another good year and hopefully a bunch of great times on the boat. These boats aren't going anywhere. Stay safe and enjoy your time on the water...

Re: California Dive Boats -- the legend of Radon (pictures)

Hey all - scott here from Santa Barbara. My kid (19) is doing a boat project on an old tri hull. Goleta beach hoist is still functioning and we live 5 min away so he wants to rig up a sling.

Any old ranch boats out there in the back yards have sling points that can be salvaged as well as sling webbing set up? I had one I sold years ago wondering if anybody got one sitting around.

If not. Where’s good place to get material to make one? I know lundys in Lompoc was a go to place. And a place in Ventura had webbing. Have not made contact yet.
Thx
Scott

They have rules at Gaviota now, mak-shift sling can be used once and than you have to get a “ professional one”. At least thats my recollection, i am sure someone will chime in.

Thanks for input I R but talking about Goleta. RIP gaviota 2018 or so. Hurricane Marie I think if remember.

If anybody got a pic of their hoist points that’d be appreciated too.

Holy shit that thing is epic! 24’er that feels like a 28.

That deck extension looks perfect for some hardcore rod and reel action and the dive door is a treat, screw a swim step.

Hello All-
I have a 1990 Radoncraft 16 center console. I believe it was a hull from the Radon/Davis partnership, but was finished after they parted ways.
I bought it three years ago, but don’t have funds to finish the project, so I am preparing to list it on Craigslist.
It has a 1993 Yamaha 85Hp 2-stroke with less than 500 hours, Pacific trailer, custom tent shelter (See photo), 7’ Achilles inflatable with Suzuki kicker, bait tank, surfboard racks, Lowrance GPS/sounder, etc.
I want to sell the whole package, but I do not know how to price it all. The hull is 31 years old, but I expect there is some “treasure” value in the boat.
Any helpful advice or input would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the weight of a 18ft radoncraft? I can't seem to find it on the web anywhere.

Depends on too many unknown factors: builder, pilot house?, loaded?, with or without trailer?

Generally speaking, safely assume 5-6k with trailer, not loaded.
