But for an extra 50$ it's actually a great little gun for the price. $140 area is super cheap for a gun that works right.
140???? For $15 more you can get a brand new MAKO predator with all SS trigger parts, a soth African shaft and bands from primeline which are hand tied on the day you order the gun.

PLEASE dont say you are comparing a Mako gun to a RA.

There is NO comparison.

~ Hi Brother, Do you get what everyone is telling you? Read between the lines, I examined all the posts through my 'Davinci Code analyzer' and saw the common thread.
This is your chance to upgrade! Give, (loan) your treasured Omer to your Lady, (expect gratitude in return) Buy a sweet reef railgun, now you have to visit KWTony in the keys,
It is a win,win,win!

Oh heavens no. But someday ra will catch up and offer an enclosed track railgun.

What's the point of an enclosed track if you're using 2 16mm bands and a 7mm shaft?

For less you can have everything but the SS and the whole "MAKO" bit printed on the side

It was some what of a joke, but the enclosed track is much faster and easier for me to load and I can freeshaft with it as well. I think they may use a 7-5 shaft on the ETR _ would have to check.

Re: Complaining about a lack of inexpensive Guns in the US

Suppose I walked into a used car dealership...
"My girlfriend wants to give driving a try. I'd like to buy something $5,00 or cheaper. If she likes it she can upgrade."
And the salesman responded...
"You should buy this car for $40,000. Cars can fail in so many different ways. You can't put a price on safety. People from all over the world in remote locations far away from any car store, that have to depend on one car..... drive this car for a reason. I have 3 or 4 myself."

Or even "Buy her this bicycle for $10,000, and watch her out drive you"

Com'on guys.

Sacha, thanks. I bought a Cressi Apache 75 for $79 online and a replacement 13mm band for $7

What about picking up a used Rob Allen? It'll last you longer in the long run and is more reliable.

You are a little off base with your analogy...nobody suggested you spend 80x more than your budget for a speargun...not even 2x. Good luck, keep that time bomb pointed in a safe direction.
