Public Service Announcement: Middle Grounds Addiction Symptoms
Some of you guys are spending way too much time in the Middle Grounds, and addiction can lead to abrupt withdrawels when the winds of late Fall start blowing. Here are the top 10 signs of addiction to the Florida Middle Grounds:
10. When around your buddies (or, in some sad cases, wife), you advise you have to take a crap by declaring that a “brown snouter is holed-up.” 9. You had to double up on xanax when the Gag Reflex stopped chartering 8. Your bathroom at home consists of a gunwale on two cinder blocks, with a garden hose jerry rigged from the exterior. 7. You plan your anniversary dinner at Berns.....so you can ask the Sommelier which wine would go best with a Jolly Dog. 6. While drunk out of your mind, you have called Capt. Jim at 2:00AM just to say, “I love you.” 5. You have referred to Dive4Blood, deepfish, or Financial Advis as “apostles.” 4. Your youngest son's nickname is "mango." 3. You believe more than 1/10 of what Financial Advis tells you about his Middle Grounds spots. 2. You have thought about eBAYing your prized rod/reel combo, so you can get that third gun you’ve been coveting. 1. In conversation, you have referred to Steinahatchee as Florida’s “cultural epicenter.” |

Make sure you include that "rap" thing that Inlesurf posted last winter, I'm still LMAO at that one.

# 11 eight knots seems like a normal cruising speed on the interstate. (c'mon there has to be some more grounds keeper ripping out there)

That really sucked. They should have let them stay. Just think what they could have done in a boatyard with material and tools. And I have witnessed No#3.
